Deputy PM orders govt to limit scrap metal exports from Jan ‘20

MOSCOW, Jun 13 (PRIME) -- Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak ordered preparation of two government orders limiting exports of scrap ferrous and non-ferrous metals from January 1, 2020, on Thursday.

Exports must be carried out only via the commodities markets. A draft order will be prepared by the Industry and Trade, Economic Development and Finance ministries until September 1.

The Industry and Trade and Economic Development ministries must also prepare an order on semi-annual quotas for the non-Eurasian Economic Union exports until June 25.
